Alan McNeill, drummer with the Downshire Brass Band, takes a break between sets Sunday to inspect a classic car in a fascinating lineup at the Big Lunch at Castle Upton in Templepatrick.   It was one of several displays and attraction at the annual event—which included some fine music from the band
    itself.

Twins Jake and Reece Alderdice from Ballyclare look ready to head for the fields at the Big Lunch Sunday in Templepatrick.  The three-year-olds were two of nearly 1,000 people who attended the annual gathering, organized by the residents’ associations of Templepatrick and Parkgate.

Sunny weather brought a huge crowd to the Big Lunch held Sunday at
Templepatrick.  It’s become an annual event, which organisers called a huge
success.  It featured live music from the Antrim Community Choir, the
Downshire Band, games, displays, bouncy castle and slide, climbing tower and
lots of room to run around the grounds of Castle Upton
